Health Minister  J.P.Nadda inaugurated CRPF Blood Donation Camp at Trauma Centre, AIIMS

 New Delhi -Two days long Blood Donation Camp being organized inside the premises of Trauma Centre, AIIMS  was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Union Health Minister Shri J.P.Nadda at 10 a.m. today. The honourable Minister also visited the Aashray, a 100 bedded facility established by CRPF in collaboration with AIIMS to provide shelter to the families of patients admitted in the Trauma Centre. Speaking on the occasion Hon’ble Minister commended CRPF initiative ‘Aashray’ a shelter home at Trauma centre AIIMS for the poor & needy patients & their attendants, He also emphasized the need to develop this type of initiative all across the country. The Minister expressed his greetings to the force personnel and their families also on the occasion of Diamond Jubilee (75 years) of the force. In the two days durations of the camp, 1100 soldiers would donate blood to save the life of others.

2   Dr. M.C. Misra Director, AIIMS mentioned that Aashray, which was inaugurated by Shri Kapil Dev in the presence of Director General CRPF on 12th November 2013, has also  completed one year of its great service to the humanity. Dr. Misra added that the willing personnel of CRPF, which has emerged as a lead partner in Organ donation drive of ORBO, AIIMS, are also registering themselves for the cause during the said camp. Various dignitaries were present on the occasion including Shri Dilip Trivedi, DG, CRPF, Smt. Suneeta Trivedi, President CWA, Dr. A.P Maheshwari IGP, NS CRPF
