Building International Friendship-Tagore International School

New Delhi :Tagore International School, East of Kailash, believes in strengthening the bonds between Nations collaborated with the Consulate of Montenegro in New Delhi. On the National Day 13 th July, 2016 an International Poster Competition was organized with the theme of ‘Indo-Montenegro Tourism’ which was held in the school premises to showcase the talent of the young artist from schools. More than 30 schools from all over India participated to celebrate International Friendship between the two countries. Along with the entire school community there were senior personnel of the Diplomatic Corps and high- level functionaries from the government. The Chief Guest Shri Subrata Bhattacharjee, Joint Secretary, Eastern Europe, MEA. Shri Navin Verma, Joint Secretary, Ministry of N.E. Affairs graced the event. Prominent among the visiting dignitaries included the Ambassadors and High Commissioners from Mexico, Bolivia, Bhutan, Palestine, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia,Congo, Malawi, Zambia, Eritrea, the UNDP Resident Representative in India and other Senior Diplomats representing more than 25 countries and H.E. Dr. Janice Darbari, The Consul General of Montenegro in India was present on the Occasion.

 A contingent from the Morarji Desai Institute of Yoga under the aegis of the Ministry of Ayush performed a Yoga display in the school premises. Festivities of the day included cultural programs, music and dance by the students of Tagore International School, EOK New Delhi.

 The Principal, Ms. Nandita Sahu hoped that this unique manner of bringing people of different  countries together amidst young children could ideate a way forward for unity and peace amongst all.
