Beti Bachao Beti Padhao
New Delhi :–Mass marriage of 51 Girls was organized by Laadli Foundation Trust that maked the concept of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao come true the Foundation is instrumental in empowering the girls specially who come from the weaker sections of society , Laadli foundation belives that marriage at the right age can help prevention of crime against women and from last two years the trust with its contribution of its members has helped poor girls born in hindu , muslims and other religions of society , This year the Mass Marriage ceremony was organized in Chattarpur Mandir Premises where 50 hindu and one muslim wedding was solemnized, fifty hindu priests and one Maulvi conducted the ceremony and all the couples were blessed and were gifted with basic household items worth one lakh so that the couple could start the decent families with some basic necessities of life and the major attraction was the Flower Rain from Sky by the help of Drone Helicopter .
Apart from the wedding ceremony to promote and motivate the generations for empower the women Laadli Samman 2014 was the special award ceremony for the 5 parents of only Single Girl and never tried for Baby boy and were focused to educate their daughter so that their daughter could achieve an outstanding positions, some of the teachers / Principals of the Govt school were honoured and awarded the Laadli Samman 2014.
Laadli Foundation Trust has been organizing these Mass Marriages from last two years and the key person of the trust Mr Devendra Kumar Gupta the President appeals to the Parents of the girl child that the “ Parents should focus on the girl’s Education rather than weddings or marriages ,let every girl enjoy a wonderful childhood and get them married can be taken care by us” . Devender Kumar Gupta is a young socialist who have been awarded Rasthriya Yuva award and under the guidance of Atul Gupta Founder member of the trust has touched the benchmark of 500th social marriage of girls from the weaker section which is remarkable .
