World Film Posters Exhibition of Krzysztof Kieslowski Opens at 45th IFFI

Goa:-‘Films of Krzysztof Kieslowski in World Film Posters’ exhibition was opened here today highlighting the rich trajectory of films made by acclaimed Polish director Krzysztof Kieslowski . The exhibition was inaugurated by the international jury chairman of 45th IFFI, Slawomir Idziak. The Ambassador of Poland to India, Tomasz Lukaszuk, Director of Polish institute for culture, New Delhi, Anna Tryc-Bromley and other international dignitaries were also present to grace the occasion. film posters are sourced from The Museum of Cinematography, City of Lodz, Poland. There are 45 posters of some of Kieslowski’s outstanding works including Three colours 1994 (Japan), Decalogue 1988 (Denmark), The double life of Veronique 1991(Poland) and Three colours: white 1993 (France). Posters are designed by renowned artists such as Andrzej Pagowski, Jakub Erol, and Andrzej Krauze. The major highlight of the exhibition is Andrzej Pagowski’s poster for the 1979 drama “Camera Buff”. The exhibition presents posters designed in various languages including English, Polish, Spanish, Italian, Korean, Dutch, Czech, German, French, Russian and Hungarian.
