New Delhi :-Inspired by the ‘Swachh Bharat Mission, launched by Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, all the officials of the PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT (PWD) took pledge of ‘Cleanliness’ from All Chief Engineers New Delhi, today i.e 2nd October , 2014.
Speaking on the occasion, PWD Chief appealed the officials to wholeheartedly take part in the task of cleaning home and office premises and take active participation in the collective quest to make ‘ Swachh’ Bharat. He pointed out that clean India would be the real tribute to the Father of Nation on his auspicious birthday. He informed that cleanliness drive would continue and every official would devote at least 100 hours every year comprising two hours every week.
