New Delhi ;-Complimenting the India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) and its associates for holding the 17th edition of the IISE, he pointed out that the event has become more significant especially when the industry is poised to touch new heights inspired by the ‘Make in India’ vision of the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India.Present on the occasion were Smt. Rita Menon, Chairperson and Managing Director, ITPO, Shri Arvind Ranjan, Director General, Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Shri Sanjeev Sehgal, Chairman , Security Protection Group of India(SGPI) and Shri Vikram Sahgal, General Manager (Security), ITPO, .
The Awards for Excellence in Display were presented by Smt. Rita Menon, Chairperson and Managing Director, ITPO to the winners in different categories comparising: Government & PSUs, Built-up Stand (shell scheme), Bare Space, Special Awards and Bands performance.In the Government category, Bharat Electronics Limited bagged the Gold trophy while Electronics Corporation of India Ltd. achieved the Silver trophy. Matrix Comsec, S.D.S Electronics, Aska Eequipments were honoured with the Gold, Silver and Bronze trophiess respectively in shell scheme category. In bare space, OIS Advanced Technology won the Gold, Arise Security Systems the Silver while R.S. Solutions and Digital India Security Products got Bronze trophy. Tata S.E.D. was honoured DG, CISF award for the latest technology in the field of security. Aditya Infotech was presented CMD’s award for comprihencive solutions in security and servilance while ED’s award for elegence in design was presented to Entterprise Software Solutions Lab. Special awards was also given to Zen Technologies for showcasing the best equipment for training. The Bands of paramilitary forces that were participating in the IISE 2014 were also commended. In this category, SSB won the Gold trophy while the BSF received the Silver.
Complimenting the Award Winners, Smt. Rita Menon, Chairperson and Managing Director, ITPO, informed that aroud 7500 businessmen, security professionals and experts visited the exhibition and most of the exhibitors expressed their willingness to participate in the next edition of the event. She said that IISE 2014 has remained highly successful interms of logistics including single window approch and cleanliness specially when there is a “Swach Bharat” drive underway all acorss the country.
